Fancy some robot action? Steel Hunters has launched today into Early Access

If you’ve been hungering for some robot action, today might be your lucky day. Steel Hunters has launched into Early Access! Free-to-play and blending extraction shooter gameplay with battle royales, the game is sure to give that shot of dopamine for those of you out there who can’t get enough of all things mecha.

Steel Hunters is being developed by Wargaming, the same developers behind World of Tanks, World of Warships, and World of Warplanes. This game, a sharp departure from Wargaming’s usual setting of choice, brings that same tactical warfare to an entirely different niche.

The game’s Early Access launch comes with seven Hunters (this game’s version of mechs), with a new Hunter set to release during the Early Access period. It has three distinct maps, a battle pass of course, and no progress reset when the game eventually launches properly. So if you’re tempted to jump in, now’s the best time.

Now seems to be a great time for those who love all things robotic. Earlier this year we got the open beta for Mecha Break, a totally different approach to mecha gameplay more reminiscient of classic Gundam games. Steel Hunters is taking a more grounded line of attack, literally and design-wise.

If this sounds like something for you, give it a try! Steel Hunters is available right now on PC. Let us know what you think down below!
