New Year Lunar 2025: All Pokémon GO search tasks

THE New Year Lunar 2025 in Pokémon go Celebrate the SERPENTE YEAR among the days January 29 and February 2. The event brings the Return of lucky exchanges more often and new research tasks, including missions that offer Pokécoins as a reward.

Temporary New Year Surveys Lunar 2025

There are two temporary searches available during the event: one free and one premium, the latter acquired by US $ 2 or equivalent value in local currency.

Free – Year of the Serpent

To complete this research, players must follow routes and capture Pokémon. The main reward are Zygarde Cellsbut it will only be possible to rescue them if the player has less than 250 units stored.

• Walk 1 km following a route → Zygarde X1 cell
• Walk 2 km following a route → Zygarde X1 cell
• Capture 10 Pokémon Following a route → Zygarde X1 cell
• Follow a route → Zygarde X1 cell
• Complete all tasks → 5,000 xp, 2,000 star dust, zygarde x6 cells

Premium

This mission involves capturing Ekans and Nosepass in large quantity, divided into two steps.

• Capture 12 Pokémon → Ekans
• Capture 12 Pokémon → Nosepass
• Capture 24 Pokémon → Ekans
• Capture 24 Pokémon → Nosepass
• Capture 36 Pokémon → Ekans
• Capture 36 Pokémon → Nosepass
• Final reward: 4,000 xp, 2,000 star dust, 2 luck eggs

🔹 Step 2

• Same missions from the previous step
• Final reward: 8,000 xp, 4,000 star dust, 1 incubator

New Year Field Searches Lunar 2025

These missions are obtained by rotating Poképaraddas and can be completed at any time, even after the end of the event.

• Capture 12 Pokémon → Darumaka, Dratini, Magikarp or Voltorb
• Capture 6 Pokémon Following a route → 1,200 Stellar Dust
• Explore 2 km → 600 Star Dust

Daily Pokécoins Searches

During the event, players will receive a special mission per daywith rewards in Pokécoins. For this, it is necessary to have at most Three active field research. These coins do not affect the daily limit obtained in gyms.

• Capture 3 Pokémon → 5 Pokécoins
• Improve a Pokémon 3 times → 5 Pokécoins
• Rotate 3 Poképarads or Gymnasiums → 5 Pokécoins

Collection challenge

As well as temporary research, the Collection challenge must be completed before the event is closed, to 8 pm on February 2. Players need to capture the following Pokémon:
