Bloober Team is back with a new gameplay trailer for its sci-fi horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, and it certainly looks pretty spooky

Bloober Team has just released a gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, it’s next big horror game. A Sci-Fi 3rd person shooter, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and the Xbox Series X|S.

This gameplay trailer, which you can watch yourself, is a short but sweet one. In it, you get to see plenty of the grim world of Cronos, as well as a variety of creepy monsters lurking around it. Perhaps more interestingly is that we get to see what appears to be the main unique mechanic of the game in action – monsters merging together to form grosser, scarier monsters.

Don’t let them merge is the sell line for this game, and you can see whyWatch on YouTube

As a survival horror game, Cronos will be joining the ranks of various legendary horror titles such as Dead Space, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill. That last one the team should have good knowledge of, considering they were behind the brillaint Silent Hill 2 remake last year. That game, not only a great recreation of a classic, was also a turning point in community sentiment around Bloober Team as a whole, so here’s hoping Cronos keeps that momentum going.

There’s no release date for Cronos yet, but you can wishlist the game starting today if you dig what the gameplay reveal trailer has shown off. Let us know below if you’re keen to try out the next game from Bloober team, and what your first impression of what you’ve seen of the game so far is.
